For over a decade, Jordanna L. Evans has primarily focused her practice on the specialized niche of Trust & Estate law. Mrs. Evans has represented clients in various areas of estate planning; including, without limitation, drafting of trusts, wills, financial and healthcare directives, and premarital and postnuptial agreements. She has advised clients with tax planning, charitable giving, asset protection and decanting, and also assisted clients with the creation of business entities such as limited liability companies, corporations and partnerships, and further aided clients with mergers and acquisitions of small businesses. Mrs. Evans has also represented heirs, beneficiaries, trustees, personal representatives, private and professional fiduciaries, and creditors related to both contested and uncontested administration of trust and probated estates, and proficiently handled a varied array of assets, both tangible and intangible, including real and personal properties, and business interests, and has prepared various complex trust accountings for high net worth trust portfolios. Additionally, Mrs. Evans has previously represented clients in a wide array of complex contested matters involving undue influence claims, contractual competency, testamentary capacity, fraud, duress and breaches of fiduciary duties.
In 2006, Mrs. Evans received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. While in college, Mrs. Evans was an active member and officer of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. While attending law school, Mrs. Evans spent the summer of 2008 working as a Judicial Extern for the honorable Evan J. Wallach at the United States Court of International Trade in New York, New York. In 2009, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. After law school, Mrs. Evans moved back to Las Vegas, where she was born and raised.
Mrs. Evans is actively licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada and the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. She is currently a member of the Probate and Trust Section of the Nevada State Bar, the Clark County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
